Hart Elementary -Where Stars are Born
If a Nebula is a place where stars are born, then one might be able to describe Hart Elementary as a Nebula. On December 18, kindergarteners through second grade Leopards paraded across the stage in the cafeteria showcasing their talents.
Dancers, pianists, cheerleaders, singers and comedians kept the audience in rapt attention. Sandwiched between the revolving stage and rows of camera wielding parents and grandparents was a carpet of Hart students cheering on their classmates. Tyler Mural, the lone comedian, received accolades in the form of laughter after his well-timed jokes including, “What is a snake’s favorite subject? Hiss-tory.” And, “How do bees get to school? They take the school buzz.” When pianists performed familiar Christmas tunes, the audience spontaneously and respectfully sang along.
The annual talent show concluded with a performance by a high energy, eleven member cheer group.
