Incident 18022407: 02/20/2018 12 a.m. at 301 E Stacy Rd, Fairview. Offense: Reckless Damage or Destruction. Fairview Town Center is listed as the victim. The person being charged is male. The reporting officer is James Taylor. PD remarks, “OFC was dispatched to 301 Stacy Road in regards to a minor accident. Made contact with mall security officer, who advised a vehicle had knocked down a stop sign near the business there. He also stated that a vehicle parked approximately 30-yards nearby had damage on the front. Officer Taylor stated, “I observed both the knocked down stop sign and damaged vehicle. Later, subject came in to report when he was leaving from a late movie Monday night, he was checking email while driving, when he struck the curb and the stop sign. He pulled over in the JC Penny parking lot. Since his car was inoperable, and it was pouring down rain, he called a friend to pick him up.”

Incident 18024634: 02/24/2018 11:15 p.m. at S Central Expy/S Sam Rayburn Hwy, Fairview. Offense: Tampering/Fabricate Physical/Possession of Marijuana. Society is listed as the victim. PD remarks, “I, Officer R. Hernandez, while assigned to Unit 116 (marked police squad car), was conducting speed enforcement in the northbound lanes of US Highway 75 (Central Expressway) near East Stacy Road in Fairview, Texas. I observed a vehicle traveling faster than that of the other vehicles. The vehicles speed was confirmed by Lidar traveling at 87 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone. The traffic-stop resulted in a citation being issued and two on view arrests.” The vehicle referenced was occupied by four males. As the subjects exited the vehicle, marijuana extracts could be seen throughout the console clearing the way for a Probable Cause Search. As a result of the search, many items were seized as evidence. Additional PD remarks, “Officer observed a sandwich bag with marijuana and two ‘blunts.’ A blunt is a cigar filled with marijuana. A black backpack had two sandwich bags (1.7 oz.) with marijuana, a package of small baggies and a small black scale located inside the backpack. A bottle of sprite with purple liquid was located in the back of the vehicle. All subjects stated the purple liquid was cough syrup. OFC asked the front seat passenger about the contraband located outside his car door. Arrestee stated he dumped the evidence outside the vehicle because he was scared.”

Incident 18024255: 02/24/2018 1:27a.m. at 372 Town Place, Fairview. Offense: Burglary of Building. Government is listed as the victim. The person arrested is a 24-year-old male. PD remarks, “On Saturday, February 24, 2018, I, Sergeant T. Neasbitt, responded to a loud noise (suspicious circumstance) coming from the Town Hall lobby of 372 Town Place, Fairview, Texas.” Officer James Taylor was also a reporting officer. PD remarks, “I observed that the East side glass door, bottom panel, was smashed, and a large hole now existed. I observed a large rock laying on the West end of the lobby, opposite the smashed glass door on the East side. There were glass shards all over the lobby and on Suspect. Suspect used the large rock to forcibly enter the Town Hall by smashing the glass part of the door. Suspect did enter the building after closing, using force (a large rock) and without permission.”
