Prosper Offense Leads EaglesTo Win Over Leopards JV Black
Starting pitcher Brian Dunleavy held the Eagles scoreless in the first inning but the Leopards were unable to capitalize in the bottom of the inning sending the teams into the second tied 0-0. With two outs in the second Prosper put together a rally breaking the tie by scoring there runs. Lovejoy responded with one run in the bottom of the second with Teagan Carlock scoring on a sacrifice fly by Kegan Reck to make it 3-1. The Eagles scored three runs in the top of the third and again the Leopards responded with three runs scored by Jarrett Caton, Josh Lanum and Ben Nopper with the big hit courtesy of a two RBI double from Carlock to make it 6-3. Prosper continued to plate runs extending their lead to 11-4 headed into the bottom of the 5th. The Leopards were able to scratch across a couple runs in the 6th inning but it wasn't enough as Prosper held on for the 11-7 win.
