Raiders Rally Late To Defeat Leopards

Due to Texas spring weather it took four days to finally determine a winner and it was Wylie East that came out on top 9-5. On Friday April 6th the Leopards jumped out to a 4-0 lead against the Raiders in the first inning with the big hit coming from Luke Stine's three run blast over the left center wall. Lovejoy added to their lead in the bottom of second when Michael Difiore singled for the second time and plated his second RBI in the game making it 5-0. Wylie East started a rally in the top of the third to bring the score to 3-0, however lightning and a tornado warning forced the game to be postponed until the following Monday. On April 9th the game resumed where it had been stopped in the top of the third with Lovejoy up 5-3.
