Holly Diamond Adheres to the Golden Rule
When meeting with clients for the first time, Holly Diamond, Realtor with Coldwell Banker Apex, The Michelle Musick Jones Team said, “I want to ensure the potential client that we are a team and communication is a high priority. I like to provide my client with information about the selling or buying process and make sure they feel informed at every stage of the transaction.”
She chose Coldwell Banker Apex over other options because she wanted to join a company that gives back to the community. She said, “Coldwell Banker Apex is a sponsor of Habitat for Humanity. Each year our company strives to build a new home in the DFW area. We also sponsor the Coldwell Banker Adopt - A - Pet project where last year 22,000 dogs found a new home.” She provided additional reasons, “Joining a brokerage that is a full service real estate company that has a large presence in DFW, but had a family feel, was important. Before passing her real estate license test in July 2017, and joining Coldwell Banker Apex in August of 2017, Diamond was a teacher. She taught in a variety of school districts, including Lovejoy ISD. She said teaching was an awesome experience. She made the career change because she was ready for the challenge of learning something new. She said, “Since I have been a teacher in the area, I am able to provide information to potential buyers about the different area school districts and what makes them unique. Since I have lived in the area, and my kids attend Lovejoy, I know what makes this area so great. I can share this with potential buyers that are from another part of DFW or moving to the area for relocation.”
After Diamond’s first listing, her team leader, Michelle Musick Jones said, “Congratulations to Holly Diamond of The MMJ Team. Yesterday, Holly closed a home in Frisco. She listed this home during the holidays and positioned it within the market so that she had over 20 offers on the property and procured a bidding war. This was during a period of time when very few homes were receiving any offers at all. Her clients were extremely pleased with the outcome of their transaction and are happy to have it closed in such a short period of time.” Their team offers complimentary home staging to help prepare homes for photos and to ensure the home stands out against the competition.
An unusual request came from a client who needed a short-term lease. Through persistence, and going above and beyond what was expected, she was able to meet their needs. She said, “I will always treat my clients how I want to be treated.”
The Diamond family has lived in Allen, within Lovejoy ISD, for 10 years. She said, “Lovejoy is a wonderful supportive community. We take care of each other. This is a great community to live in and raise a family.”
