We’ve been busy on the Trinity Trail at Lavon Lake, and in the community, for the past several months. We had a booth at the Lucas Founders Day event, manned by Jill Korbelic and Sharon Berryman. It was a great chance to meet the public, even if it was amazingly cold and windy!
We had much better weather for our April TTPA ride, where we gathered at the new E. Winningkoff trailhead in Lucas and rode north to the Giant Sycamore tree. It was wonderful to have all the trees leafed out and green everywhere just in time for spring rains.
Our May TTPA ride met at Brockdale and some folks rode north and some south. Newcomers are welcome to attend our rides (and workdays), getting to experience the trail for the first time with members who ‘know the ropes’. Check out the calendar on our website at www.trinitytrailriders.org for more information on dates, locations, and times.
And lastly, are you missing a bull? This fellow has been seen on the trail, between the Brockdale trailhead and Inspiration, but is very timid and runs off into the woods when approached.
