Luke Stine – World Power Showcase Finalist

 Luke Stine – World Power Showcase Finalist competed at the Miami Marlins Park in the World Power Showcase over the Christmas break. He made it through the preliminary round onto the finals where he competed in the Home Run Derby Featured Finals. He placed 2nd in the finals with only having two home runs short of the champion. He was awarded with the Longest Distance - Wood Bat Home Run at 421ft.  He competed with players from all over the world throughout the week.

 Luke was also awarded many awards throughout the week. He represented Texas and did a fantastic job.  Luke’s Awards:

o    Colossus of Clout Award

o    Longest Distance  - Wood Bat Home Run

o    Overall Wood Bat Home Runs

o    Consecutive Home Runs

Luke is a senior at Lovejoy High School and on the varsity Lovejoy baseball and football teams.
