BIG HEARTS FROM HART KIDS
Two weeks ago, four little girls, Avery, Celia, Ava and Canon, all in first grade at Hart Elementary came up with the idea to empty their piggy banks and buy toys for kids in the hospital. As soon as Brayden (1st grade) heard about this plan, he was all in. Adelynn, who is Avery’s sister and in the 2nd grade, wanted in on the action too. Once the moms were informed, the plan was on its way. Doing chores, saving money, and reaching out to friends and family, the group raised $1,555 which resulted in 243 toys for the kids at Plano Children’s hospital. On Jan. 31, 2019, the group met in the hospital lobby to deliver the toys. They also learned about how the toys were distributed to the kids in the hospital and how grateful the children would be when they received a present.
Carol White said, “I could not be more proud of the selflessness of this group and how hard they worked to help others.”
